We hope to inspire guys to follow Jesus and be fearless world changers at home, in the workplace, at church and in our community. Joining a small group is one of the best ways to connect, foster friendships, and grow in your relationship with Jesus.

GUN SAFETY CLASSES + GUN RANGE TRIP – January/February 2026
We’re excited to announce that our next Men’s Ministry get-together is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Ojai Valley Gun Range. The exact start time is still TBD, but it will take place in the morning.Please note that you will need to provide your own firearm and ammunition for the event. Carpooling is highly encouraged to help with parking and fellowship.

Safety Training Requirement :
To participate in this outing with Encounter, firearm safety training is mandatory, and the range also requires proof of completion for all attendees.
If you have not yet completed certified training, we will be offering a class on: Tuesday, January 27, 2026 — Morning at the Ojai Valley Gun Range
Cost: $75
This fee covers the training, use of a firearm, ammunition, and live shooting that day. If you are unable to attend this session, there are several commercial gun ranges in Ventura County that offer certified training as well. These options may be more expensive, and availability of same-day shooting is not guaranteed. Again, carpooling is highly encouraged to help with parking and fellowship.
