Impact Trips
Step into a life-changing adventure by joining a short-term Impact Trip with ENCOUNTER. These trips are a powerful way to live out the gospel alongside communities around the world. You’ll serve with our global partners, support field workers, build meaningful relationships, and share the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Opportunities for both adults and students are listed below.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica - February
February 17-26 // Cost: $1,850
As a member of this team, you will serve at La Montana Christian Camp. The main work focus during the week will be painting, some light carpentry work and general maintenance to keep the camp in shape to properly welcome high school age campers. One thing about the jungle: it wants to reclaim the things that humans have made, and reduce them down to compost. Maintenance is an always thing. There will also be landscaping/gardening jobs. If you have a particular skill (plumbing, electrical, technical services, carpentry), the chances are that you can bless the camp by sharing your abilities. Your service will impact thousands of campers with the life-changing news of the Gospel!

IRELAND - Youth Ministries
Ireland – March/April
March 27-April 3, 2026 // Cost: $2,800
This team will be partnering with Phil and Cheryl Kingsley, who have served faithfully in Ireland for over 40 years. Ireland is beautiful, welcoming, and deeply relational—but many still don’t know the life-giving hope of Jesus. On this trip, participants will come alongside the local church to reach communities that are often untouched by the Gospel. Through prayer walks, city service projects, and heartfelt conversations over meals and tea, they will learn how to naturally share Christ’s love, with the hope that our students will bring what they learn in Ireland back here to our schools and community. The team will help support long-term ministry and encourage believers in a place where the Gospel is still taking root—being, in every small moment, a wee bit of salt and light to the Irish people.

Honduras
Honduras – July
July 14-21 // Cost: $2,000
Join this team for a transformative trip to educate and mobilize people in our community to use their gifts and abilities in a cross-cultural setting. This short-term immersion trip is designed to broaden our understanding of God’s heart for poverty, justice, and advocacy. We will partner with Brigades del Amor to learn and serve in a slum area of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This experience will blend hands-on support with cultural immersion, allowing you to make a tangible impact while connecting deeply with the community. ENCOUNTER has been serving in Honduras since 2010.
