Join us as we finish up our ENCOUNTER SUMMER ROADTRIP at our Desert Destination All Church party! We will be welcoming Pastor Jon and his family and celebrating the end of summer. Come for the fun activities for the kids — rock wall, dunk tank, jolly jumps, and face paint — and tacos and churros for lunch! Buy a taco plate for $5, and we’ll throw in dessert for free! MOPS is back on Wednesday mornings this fall! Come and join a community of women who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. Enjoy great speakers who share on topics like how to strengthen marriages, improve mothering skills, and explore faith. There’s also breakfast, coffee, crafts, and lots of conversation! Registration opens August 15 for Praise Kids, our fall musical program that gives children and middle school students the opportunity to experience the Performing Arts. This year’s Christmas production, A Christmas Yarn, will be performed on December 4 during our Sunday ENCOUNTER services. Children ages 4 (as of October 4) through grade 8 are encouraged to sign-up for this fun program.
We know your job as a mom doesn’t stop when your kiddos head off to school. Though new challenges and struggles arise as you enter into the school years with your kids, the need for community, hope and friendship remains. That’s why we offer MOMSnext, a group that is specifically designed to meet the needs of moms with school-age children! MOMSnext meets once a month on Tuesday evenings starting September 6. Register today!
Join us for the WOW, Women of the Word, fall study, Warrior Woman, by Bianca Juárez Olthoff. God desires each of his children to follow his call. But sometimes the battles we fight for God’s kingdom defy our expectations, leading us to trust Him more deeply.
