YOUNG PROFESSIONAL WOMEN
Connect, Grow, Gather & Serve
This group was started a few years ago when a few of us realized the church didn’t have a lot of opportunities for young women, who are busy building their careers, to connect and grow in community. Our group is not defined by our relationship role (single, married, mom); rather we are all in a similar season of life.
Our vision is to create a space for women in their 20’s and 30’s to pray, laugh, and support each other as we share what’s on our hearts, how God has been working in our lives, and develop in areas where we need encouragement.
Our desire to grow closer to God drives our group, and our commitment to offering multiple ways to connect makes this ministry so fun!

Young Professional Women’s Connect:
A few times a year we gather in a casual setting to discuss a topic, a book or learn a new skill. These events happen on various dates.
Young Professional Women’s Grow:
We grow through the study of scripture and various studies.
Join us on Thursday evenings as we get acquainted with different women in the Bible and discover how we can learn from their choices. We will be meeting to discuss different chapters of Bad Girls of the Bible: And What We Can Learn From Them by Liz Curtis Higgs. Join us for the whole session or jump in when you can!
We meet on these Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the Green Room at ENCOUNTER (located behind the auditorium – enter from Johnson Drive parking lot):

Young Professional Women’s Gatherings:
Our social gatherings are a chance for us to unwind a bit and build deeper friendships with other women in our group. Some events are just for ladies – but we also open up a few to bring our significant others.
Young Professional Women’s Serve:
We partner with ACTION and volunteer at Ventura’s Community Christmas Shoppe in December and Serve Day in May. We also offer other opportunities to Serve as needs come up in our church and community.
