Rooted is a 10-week discipleship program and a catalyst for life-change. It provokes questions and conversations and group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
Over the course of ten weeks, groups meet and talk about what God has been revealing to each person through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. Each group will share in experiences outside of group time. These include prayer, serving, breaking strongholds, and sharing your story. At the end of the 10 weeks, the groups will gather together for a dinner to celebrate the journey.
Consistent attendance is important in Rooted. If you know that you will miss 2 or more sessions, please wait and attend Rooted at a later date.
Groups meet on Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:30 pm, September 4 – November 6 on the ENCOUNTER campus. Additionally, the Rooted Experience includes 3 additional gatherings – a Prayer Experience on Friday, September 20, 5:30 – 7:30 pm (childcare available), a serve experience (TBD), and a Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, November 13, 6:30 pm.
The cost for the program is $40 per participant and includes a workbook, t-shirt and celebration dinner (partial scholarship available, email firstname.lastname@example.org).
Childcare is available for $7/child. Registration online by 7 pm the Sunday BEFORE group meeting is requested. Option to pay for childcare for whole session available.
