We’re on a mission to celebrate motherhood!

We build a circle of women who love each other like family, because being a mom is beautiful and hard, and finding hope in the midst of colic or no sleep is life-giving. MOPS is a way to connect with women who have your back, dry your tears, and call you into new adventures.

It’s a movement of women who are practicing becoming more brave, kind, and honest. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.

Welcome to MOPS Ventura! We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because hugs can change the course of history. That’s why MOPS Ventura connects moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood.

Great speakers share on topics like how to strengthen marriages, improve mothering skills, and explore faith. There’s also yummy treats, tea, crafts, and lots of conversation!

If you’re a mom in need of encouragement and want to meet other moms, MOPS is for you! MOPS is for moms with infants thru kindergarten including expectant mommies, foster moms, and adoptive moms!

MOPS Ventura is thrilled to welcome you back! We meet bi-monthly on Monday nights in The PLEX at ENCOUNTER. The program goes from 7:30 – 9 pm, however, please join us early for fellowship, crafts, and dessert from 7 pm – 7:30 pm. Sign up today to secure your spot.

We know that life has been a bit unexpected lately, and everyone’s situations are different. Please reach out to our MOPS Coordinator, Alex, if you would like to fill out a scholarship application. We do not want finances to be a hindrance. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Yes, we will still have childcare in the evening, but our hope is that the majority of moms can have their littles stay home with family. We will have very limited childcare for those that have husbands working overnight shifts or who don’t have babysitters/ family able to help. And, of course, a young nursing baby can always stay with the mama during the meeting. Our caregivers are background checked, licensed, bonded, and employed by ENCOUNTER, our hosting church. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding childcare or can let you visit our facilities. Please register HERE
