God designed the church to be so much more than a building, but a people who are who are deeply devoted and faithful; men and women who have discipleship at the core of their being. God does not ask us to be consumers OF the things of God, but to be contenders FOR the ways of God. We don’t just show up because it’s the dutiful thing for Christians to do, but because the Holy Spirit has genuinely filled us and we are empowered to do His work.
