ENCOUNTER Kids VBS – In the Wild is a 5-day program for kids age 4 – grade 5. Zoom in! Amazing encounters with Jesus! We’re headed on a wild adventure, getting snapshots of exotic places and Jesus’ life. This is a great experience for your children to learn more about God, have fun, and make new friends!

There is a special closing program and carnival for parents and families on Thursday evening June 27 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

VOLUNTEERS – Registration for Adults, Junior Partners and Music Camp begins April 27

Adults: We have various opportunities where you can impact kids’ lives. Come join our team as a group guide, or work in crafts, snacks, games, help teach music motions, or you can work with our preschool age kids. We have over 60 opportunities to serve.

Students in grades 6 – 12:
Option 1: for students in grades 6 – 12 is to volunteer as a Junior Partner (JP) without attending the Music Camp. We try our hardest to place everyone in the area they are interested in. All students will be trained to assist in the area where they serve.

Option 2: Music Camp is a program for students who volunteer at VBS. Music Camp offers an opportunity to be involved in our VBS Closing Program. You can choose one of several options: dance, music, tech, set design, and drama. Space is limited for this program. Music Camp is Monday – Thursday from 12:45 – 3:00 pm following ENCOUNTER Kids VBS. Cost $15 per student.

Music Camp offers an opportunity to be involved in our VBS Closing Program, Thursday, June 27, at 6:30 pm. When you commit to MC, you commit to participating in that program. We perform a mini-musical that highlights our VBS theme. The purpose of camp is to develop in an area of the performing arts you are most interested in: drama, dance, music, set design, or tech. Auditions are held for those interested in a drama role or a solo. All students who perform on stage will be required to learn the music and sing as a group. Set Design becomes our “Set Crew” for the production. Tech Crew remains behind-the-scenes providing sound, lighting and visuals.
