In Christmas, Community

Every year ENCOUNTER partners with Samaritan’s Purse in their Operation Christmas Child ministry. Last year we collected 460 shoeboxes. This year our goal is to collect 500! We need your help to reach our goal.

During the month of November we collect shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies to be shipped all over the world to children who live in areas affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine and disease. It is a way for us to share the love of Jesus in a tangible, meaningful way during the Christmas Season.

Not sure what to pack in your shoebox? Here’s a list to get you started or check out this video for some tips! BOXES ARE DUE BACK AT ENCOUNTER NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 18TH.
