W.O.W. Fall Bible Study – Lyrics of Life by Lisa Harper

Women of all ages and stages are welcome at WOW, Women of the Word.  We study God’s word, create circles of community and encouragement, and engage the world by serving God.  We are a large group that meets in small sub-groups.  There is a seat at the table for you.

A Psalm for Every Situation

This fall, WOW will walk through the study Lyrics of Life by Lisa Harper. We sometimes feel like we need to curate our emotions when we talk to God. But God wants us to come to him honestly, no matter what we are feeling or going through. Join Bible teacher Lisa Harper as she teaches from the book of Psalms looking at the variety of circumstances faced by followers of God. In this eight-session series, we learn how to find comfort in any situation based on this songbook of the people of God.

We have several meeting times available:

Tuesday morning in person 9:30-11:00am in the PLEX

Wednesday evening in person 6:30 – 8pm in Oxnard (address will be shared upon registration)

Thursday evening Zoom 7-8:30pm.
