Fill the Truck – Help Change a Life!
Partner with Ventura County Rescue Mission Alliance by donating your gently used clothes and household items! VCRMA is a powerful ministry in our community, walking alongside men and women, at the Rescue Mission and the Lighthouse, as they recover from homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and trafficking.
When you Fill the Truck, your donations are sold in their thrift stores—bringing in $15,000–$20,000 to directly fund their life-changing programs. 100% of the proceeds go straight back to outreach and support services that restore dignity and offer hope.
Clean out your closet. Fill the truck. Fuel transformation.
Bring your donations on Sunday, October 19 and put it directly in the truck parked in the parking lot!
List of items needed:
- Clothing for men, women, and children (all sizes)
- Shoes (casual, work, sneakers, boots)
- Jackets, coats, and sweaters
- Accessories (belts, hats, purses, scarves)
- Kitchenware (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, small appliances)
- Linens (sheets, blankets, towels)
- Home décor (lamps, pictures, clocks, mirrors)
- Baby and children’s clothing and shoes
- Toys, books, puzzles, and games (complete and in good condition)
- Baby gear (strollers, highchairs, car seats if not expired)
- Books (all ages, especially children’s)
- Electronic family-friendly media
- Sporting goods (bikes, skateboards, sports equipment)
- Small furniture (chairs, nightstands, side tables, etc.)
