Biblical Racial Reconciliation

What does the Bible have to say about issues of race, God and the gospel?

The Biblical basis for racial unity and reconciliation begins simply with the Bible’s statement of our common humanity. Scripture describes the tragic divisions of every kind that have come to humanity as a result of our rebellion against God. There are divisions between man and woman, between man and his brother, between neighbor and neighbor, between tribe and tribe, and between nation and nation.

In an era where we seem to be increasingly divided along racial lines, many are hesitant to step into the gap, fearful of saying or doing the wrong thing. When we turn to Scripture, we find that reconciliation is at the core of our faith.
