WE ARE A CHURCH
DEFINED BY GRACE
DEFINED BY GRACE
At ENCOUNTER, we keep things simple. People matter to us, no matter what age or background. We love learning more about God and His purposes for our lives. And everything we do is a warm reminder of God’s unconditional love and acceptance.
FEATURED EVENTS
Open enrollment for ENCOUNTER’s weekday preschool starts Tuesday, February 16 for the 2021-22 school year! We have full day and half day programs for children ages 2 through Pre-K. The preschool took extensive measures over the past year to ensure the highest level of safety for children and teachers and will continue to adapt as we move through this pandemic. Sign-up early, because spots will fill very quickly. Tell your friends and neighbors!
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now if you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. Find help at GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
GriefShare starts Monday, February 1.

They’re Peacemakers

Scripture References: Matthew 5:9
From Current Series: "NEW KINGDOM PEOPLE"
For most of us, 2020 was harrowing. It was a year of countless disruptions, reversals, unknowns, complications and waiting. It was rough. But it was also a year of opportunity—an opportunity that is still stretched out before us. All those hardships have the potential of realigning our hearts at a most fundamental level. When this world gets disrupted, there’s the potential of thinking beyond it. Jesus came talking about another Kingdom—a realm, a reign, a way of relating that was based on God’s value system, rather than the world’s common trajectory. “My Kingdom is not of this world,” Jesus said. Whether you’re online or in person, please join me at ENCOUNTER this weekend for “New Kingdom People.” God is showing us the way forward.
