Praise Kids
PERFORMING ARTS 2023
Choir program for kids & students, ages 4 - grade 8
Praise Kids is our fall musical program that gives children and middle school students the opportunity to experience the Performing Arts. All fall, kids learn and rehearse the Christmas musical, Dude, You Hear What I Hear? Performances will be presented on December 2 & 3.
Rehearsals on Tuesdays, starting August 29:
- Ages 4-Kindergarten: 4:30 - 5:15 pm
- Grades 1-8: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Auditions:
If your child is in grades 1 – 8 and interested in auditioning for an additional role in drama, dance, or singing a solo, please sign-up during our weekend services or at the Children’s office during the week. You will be given an audition script and music as well as a reminder card for the scheduled audition.
- September 12 or 13 with Call Backs on September 15 - sign-ups must be done in person
- Rehearsals for these roles are from 6:30 - 7:45 pm, after choir rehearsals - must attend choir rehearsals
Registrations
Registration for participation in the production starts August 13 — October 3 for children ages 4 (as of October 3) through grade 8. Register on the Patio during weekend services, or in the Children’s Office during the week.
Program Cost:
- Ages 4-Kindergarten: $30/child
- Grades 1-8: $40/first child
- $35/each additional child
- Scholarships available upon request at $25/child
